Just where is that list? On this website? On CIS? on pdf? via phone support? My dealer can't find it. Could someone please point me to the thread, or detailed information listing ALL compatible cameras with WISER and ALL their appropriate static jpeg URL settings (that you have to set and put into PICED to make the images come up properly) They want me to buy someone else's gear? Fine. The essential component of a complete video surveillance system for your Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, this app allows you to easily monitor your CCTV system from wherever you are. Why do we have to plead like little school children to have this sort of support for cbus gear here in Australia? It's not like I haven't spent 20K plus already on other CIS gear. The official iPhone, iPad and Apple TV app for SecuritySpy. The same company in the US would not hesitate to have a 30 day money back trial. But I'll be darned I will do this at my expense, and time, and find it doesn't work and not be able to return the camera! I'd even help promote the camera by emailing the settings to Ben at Security spy. Why don't they offer a 30 day money back guarantee for something like this? I'd be more than happy to test it for them, and provide the info back here on this website for goodness sake. It's like getting blood out of a stone sometimes with these guys. No problem, If CIS won't help me actually buy one of their own cameras, then I won't. it was cheap, it looks a lot nicer, and it works perfectly with Wiser. I'm really happy with the D-Link DCS932L I just got. I like to use an NVR myself because it gives my Mac a break. An NVR makes monitoring different spots from a central position easier and allows the storage of large files of data. SecuritySpy would be good, but I think an NVR would be great. There is another thread listing a few cameras that are compatible. Zoneminder or shinobi might be a good choice. My own personal opinion is that the Wiser camera is pretty damn ugly has has no chance of meeting the WAF. I'd hazard a guess that just about any camera that can do these two things can also serve up a video feed, and that the SecuritySpy software only needs to know what the format and URL for that is. The only things that Wiser requires of any IP camera are a) ability to access the feed without authentication, and b) a URL that can serve up a static JPEG image. it works like most of them and has much the same feature set that they all do. There is nothing particularly magic about the camera. do you seriously expect Schneider to be able to blow $1k (not to mention the time to organise it and do the testing) to buy a mac, just to test a camera (that they supply specifically to work with their product) on some random 3rd party piece of software? How far should they take it? Find every piece of software that supports monitoring IP cameras and test that on every different hardware platform? In this case though, I think your expectations are a little unreasonable. Let me start by saying that I'm a fellow mac user (for over 10 years - I didn't just jump on the bandwagon), and I understand your point of view on a lot of things.
